Getting Started
It all starts with a free onsite consultation to discuss your needs and where I might be able to help. This typically takes 30-60 minutes.
I then provide you with a quotation, explaining my charges and what you get in return. I can recommend suppliers and tradespeople If you prefer to manage the process yourself, or I can project manage the work through to completion.
If you want to go ahead we agree a start date and if necessary I return to take a more detailed brief, measure up and take before photos.
Pricing
No two projects are the same so pricing is based on an hourly rate of £25.00. When quoting a flat charge for a project I calculate my quote based on the number of hours and amount of travel I estimate the work involves.
Agreeing A Budget
As part of the process I can help you estimate the cost of planned work, or I can help you determine how far a set budget could go. I can achieve a lot with very little so no project is too small.
The Design Process
The best results come from collaboration. So once I have an initial concept I will share this with you to get feedback.
If I'm providing design services then I would usually produce a mood board detailing where all items on the board can be found, and any floor plans and drawings needed to help you visualise my final designs, and for any tradespeople to work from.
The Execution
Once we've agreed the plan and spend I can order and purchase everything required for the project, invoicing you as we go along.
If I am managing the project then I will provide you with a schedule of work, and handle all dealings with suppliers and tradespeople.
Even with the best plans in place things crop up so if I am not managing your project I will still be available to you and any tradespeople to answer questions and respond to any unexpected events.
Once all work is completed I will return to dress the room and take after photos.
